Circle to the left

Individual in a balcony

Socialist blocks

Ottoman domes

They left a few

Then they built an obsolete tower

Can words break down the old structures or do they serve them

History is inset into beauty

Or is it the other way round

Old

New

I never know which way it goes

How much do I eat ?

In a year ?

I know where I come from

I see it in their faces

Strong, stern , but breaking out into irreversible smiles

A stern face is always impressive when it breaks out into a smile

Croatia the homeland

Hungary the homeland

Ireland the homeland

India the homeland

Spain the homeland

Russia the homeland

Pull my  stomach to bits

Smile !

The old lady grabs my hand and I see years filter out  her eyes

Come into the circle

“You stop being an individual ? ” I ask

You will only be shown the moves

Nothing more

Then you can improvise

Do as your heart dictates

But you must go left

To go right would not do !

The moon is full again

I was never an individual

An inward  dual

Oh yes I am

I just deny it

But best to keep it quiet

Lips don’t exist at the moment

They will come back when I take another sip

Lucky you

Stop

Earthy

Intrepid

Pissing in the wind

I like to do such things

To put one foot before the other

And stop vanity in its tracks

Who made the rules up anyway

Some logic never sticks

We never stick

Somehow  I’m like Teflon

One foot follows

Streaks past the next

Into one land and out of another

This could go on forever

If forever were an option

It isn’t

………….. these dot are friends of mine .. bah .. bah

The sheep interludes

Before tracing diagonally  across the bank

Down to the river edge to see his own reflection

Vanity only a recollection of past lives

Time in a stately home

One foot in

To find an entry

To fondle

Sounds good
